Dh Foods has signed an agreement to make Heritage Beverage Company, a U.S. importer of Vietnamese premium products, its exclusive distributor in the U.S. market.

Dh Foods, a leading brand of Vietnamese food products, will assign Heritage Beverage Company (HB), a portfolio company of Saigon Asset Management (SAM), to import and distribute more than 150 SKUs of condiment products, consisting of many specialty spices, from Vietnam to the U.S. market.

Cooperation between the two sides enables more quality and sustainable Vietnamese premium agricultural products to be sold in the U.S., home of a greater than $40 billion Asian food market and three million Vietnamese Americans.

According to Nguyen Trung Dung, chairman and CEO of Dh Foods, after nine years of growth and development, Dh Foods targets to become the spice corner in the world's kitchen.

"Our key products, like Tay Ninh gourmet seasoning, Nha Trang sweet and sour BBQ sauce, Phu Quoc spice fish sauce and natural marinate for Pho, have been great contributors to our success. While our products have penetrated the European and Asian markets, our aspiration is for Dh Foods to be available in America. We are delighted to partner with Heritage Beverage, a strong importer and distributor of Vietnamese premium products for the U.S. market and look forward to having our Vietnamese condiments available in America," he said.

According to Louis Nguyen, chairman of Heritage Beverage, over the past decade, Vietnamese food and culture have experienced a steady increase in influence in mainstream America. However, many Vietnamese products arriving in the U.S. have seen challenges in quality and competitiveness.

"Sustainable products from Dh Foods stand above the crowd and we recognize this is driven by commitment from the senior management team of the company. Heritage Beverage is delighted to be able to bring high quality and sustainable Vietnamese food to the American market," he shared

Dh Foods products are expected to be available in the U.S. market from the third quarter of 2022. Dh Foods will leverage HB's import and distribution systems to be sold at key Vietnamese restaurants and premises, casinos, and mainstream U.S. supermarkets.

Dh Foods products are currently sold in key supermarkets and convenience stores nationwide... and have entered competitive markets like Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the Netherlands, the UK, Germany, and Australia.

Dh Foods maintained an average growth rate of 50 percent per year throughout the last six years. Despite the global pandemic in 2021, the company achieved a growth rate of 61 percent, with exports up 32 percent compared to 2020.

Dh Foods JSC was established in 2012 with the mission of bringing specialty condiments in Vietnam to the kitchens of every family at home and abroad. Dh Foods products are available at all supermarkets and convenience stores nationwide like Vinmart, Bach Hoa Xanh, CoopMart, BigC (Go! & TOPS), Lottemart, Aeon, MM Mega Market, Circle K, FamilyMart, B'smart, 7 Eleven, GS25, BRG, Lanchimart.

Established in 1994, Heritage Beverage Company is a leading U.S. importer and distributor of Vietnamese premium products into the American market. HB’s key customers include Saigon Beer (SABECO), Vinamilk, and Dh Food, some of the top national brands of Vietnam.

Heritage Beverage’s products are available in major stores in the U.S. including Whole Foods, Costco, Cost Plus, Safeway, Albertson’s, Kroger, Trader Joe's and 99 Ranch, and many Vietnamese restaurants.

Heritage Beverage is invested and backed by Saigon Asset Management (SAM), a private equity firm based in the U.S. and Vietnam.
