Import and export activities of goods through the border gates of Coc Nam (Lang Son) and Lung Vai (China) stopped from the evening of August 26 to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic.

According to information from the Asia-Africa Market Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), the time to restore import and export activities will be based on the epidemic situation and the demand for customs clearance of goods through this region. According to statistics of Lang Son province, by the end of August 26, Coc Nam border gate no longer had any goods waiting to be exported to China.

The functional agencies of Lang Son province have notified businesses and traders who regularly import and export activities at Coc Nam sub-border gate to stop sending goods to this border gate.

In order for export activities to be uninterrupted, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said that it is working with Lang Son and Cao Bang provinces to develop a plan to regulate vehicles moving through Huu Nghi (Lang Son) or Ta Lung (Cao) international border gates. Degree) to export goods to China. Currently, these border gates are still clearing customs normally.

Facing the fact that the Chinese side recently issued a notice to stop customs clearance at some border gates and tighten the quarantine of exports to this country, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development has sent a letter to the Chinese side. China, requesting customs clearance back to Vietnamese agricultural products.

However, the Ministry of Industry and Trade suggested businesses actively monitor, update information and exchange with Chinese partners to change the appropriate delivery and delivery locations. The ministry also advised businesses to "switch quickly and strongly to official export", because in fact, at the most difficult time, the main and international border gates still clear customs normally.
